Research Mission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The PERCH Lab is focused on understanding processes or risk and resilience to ultimately support individuals who encounter different kinds of adverse life experiences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our research evaluates the impact of adverse experiences across varied bioecological contexts on children\u2019s mental and physical health outcomes, while exploring the biological mechanisms that underlie these associations and whether different factors (e.g., parenting, community resources) may protect against the negative effects of stress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
